The men's national hockey team defeated Canada in the Azlan Shah Cup and finished in 5th place.


The men's national hockey team led by coach Min Tae-seok ranked 5th in the 30th Sultan Azlansha Cup.


Korea defeated Canada 4-1 in the 5th and 6th place match held in Ipoh, Malaysia on the 11th (local time).


In this tournament, which was played as a full league with 6 teams participating, Korea fell to the 5th and 6th place match with 1 win and 4 losses.


Korea continued to push hard against Canada, which had achieved its only victory in the full league.


After Gong Yun-ho hit the net in the first quarter, Lim Do-hyun scored an additional point with a powerful PC (penalty corner) shot in the second quarter.


Then, Seo In-woo and Jung Hyun-ho scored goals, widening the score gap.


Korea allowed its first goal to Canada in the 4th quarter, but later maintained the victory with stable play and finished the tournament in 5th place.  토토
