9 over par record 61st

Charlie Woods (15), son of the 'golf emperor' Tiger Woods (49), was eliminated from the US Open qualifying round of the PGA Tour.

Charlie recorded one birdie in the US Open regional preliminaries held in Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA on the 26th (Korean time), but recorded four bogeys and three double bogeys and finished with only 9 over par, 81 strokes.

Charlie, who was trying out for the US Open preliminaries for the first time, ranked 61st out of 74 participating players and did not advance to the final preliminaries where the top five players can advance.

Charlie, who mainly participated in junior competitions, has attracted attention by participating in the PNC Championship, a family golf competition, with his father Woods every year since 2020. In this competition, he placed 7th in 2020, runner-up in 2021, 8th in 2022, and tied for 5th last year.

Last February, he participated in the first qualifying round of the Cognizant Classic, but failed to enter the PGA Tour by recording 16 over par.

Meanwhile, the US Open will be held in Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA for four days starting June 13th. 고스톱
