Bae Junho (21, Stoke City) was the second-highest rated player on the team after playing just 21 minutes.

Stoke City won 2-0 away to Hull City AFC in the 39th round of the 2023-2024 Championship at the MKM Stadium in Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England, at 0:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday.

With the three points, Stoke moved to 17th place in the league with 44 points (W12 D8 L19).

Junho Bae started the match from the bench. Fresh off his trip to the Olympics, he was given a chance to start off the bench.

He came on in the 26th minute of the second half, after the team had taken a 1-0 lead on Josh Laurent's goal, replacing flanker Sid Hakshabanovic to lead the attack from the flank.

Bae's footwork shone in stoppage time. With the ball in front of the box, Bae played a short, quick pass to Ki-Yana Hoeber, who was unmarked on the right flank. Höber fired a straight shot that rattled the net to give Stoke a 2-0 win.

Bae made his presence felt in the final 21 minutes of stoppage time, recording one assist, a 100% pass completion rate (9/9), two chances created, one cross, two tackles, and three ball recoveries.

After scoring back-to-back goals in Rounds 34 and 35, 안전놀이터 추천 Bae Junho picked up his fourth assist of the season, giving him two goals and four assists in the league.

Bae has also been a key resource for the South Korean U-23 national team, where he recently played in the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U-23 Championship in Saudi Arabia, helping South Korea win the title.

However, he only played two matches before the semifinals and returned to his club, Stoke, early at the request of his club.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) announced on May 25, "Bae Junho's club requested his early return to prepare for the next match. The KFA and the Olympic team coaching staff decided to accommodate the request, and Bae will return to the team today," the organization announced.

Bae showed why Stoke were so happy to welcome him back. Even after playing only 20 minutes, Bae made his presence felt, which was recognized by the local Stoke-on-Trent club.

The Stoke-on-Trent media outlet 'Stoke-on-Trent Live' gave him the second highest rating of 8 points. "Although he made a cameo appearance, he showed beautiful footwork and body movements," they said, giving him a thumbs up.

Meanwhile, Bae has also been named to the roster for the 2024 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Championship, which will be held on April 15 as a men's soccer qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
